[gu-mah-wa] Workshop
LOCATION: Columbia Pike Library in the DREW ROOM

ALL ARE WELCOME!

Join us for a FREE creative art experience celebrating the vibrant legacy of Filipino American artist Pacita Abad. In this free workshop, we’ll take a brief journey through Pacita’s inspiring life and groundbreaking work, focusing on her iconic piece 'Circles in My Mind'. You will explore a variety of materials and mixed-media techniques to create their own artwork inspired by Abad’s bold use of color, texture, and pattern.

Techniques will involve DIY stamp & printing, painting, collage and more! This is a wonderful opportunity to learn, experiment, and connect through Pacita's art.

All materials will be provided. We will be utilizing acrylic paint, so please dress appropriately.
